Alloy Wheels are definitely "in" these days. Those bling-bling wheels you see on most vehicles today are all alloy wheels and they are gaining more fans and popularity everyday.

So what exactly are alloy wheels and how are they different from normal wheels? Are alloy wheels better than normal wheels?

These are the types of questions I intend to answer in this article.

Alloy Wheels perform the same function in automobiles as the normal steel ones but there are certain added features in alloy wheels that make them different and arguably better.

Compared to wheels made of steel, alloy wheels are composed of aluminum or magnesium alloys making them stronger and durable, lighter in weight, better in performance and most importantly, stylish. These wheels are manufactured either by the process of casting or by forging of metal alloys.

Forged alloy wheels are lighter and much more durable than cast alloy wheels but they are a little hard on the pocket. Forged alloy wheels are usually the preferred choice for high-performance sports cars but that does not mean you can't fit them on any other car crp123x launch. Comparatively, cast aluminum alloys are heavier but they are cheaper and yet have almost the same styling as that of forged alloys.

There is however another type of stylish alloy wheels called Mag-Wheels. Magnesium alloy wheels or mag-wheels are whole magnesium cast or forged wheels used in racing cars as they are the lightest alloy wheels available. Mag-wheels are high on performance as well as on styling.

Unmatched style is probably the main reason why most people now prefer alloy wheels for their vehicle. There is no doubt that alloy wheels make the vehicle look posh and increase its cosmetic appeal but there are two other definite advantages of fitting your car with alloy wheels instead of the normal steel wheels:

• Alloy wheels are lighter, that means your vehicle has less unsprung mass. This means your vehicle handles better and there is improved road grip on most terrains. A lighter vehicle will obviously perform better on the mileage count as well.

• Alloy wheels are also good in terms of balancing autel ds808. Your vehicle balances well reducing stress on other parts of your car like the suspension and the axles.

Besides that, did we discuss the style that alloy wheels add to your vehicle?

You no longer require those fuzzy hub-caps and you can definitely avoid displaying those ugly looking steel rims. No matter how elegant your car looks, if the wheels are not up to the mark, it may be a case of "bride without the ornaments". And indeed, wheels are ornaments, the ones to be proudly displayed. Alloy wheels maintain their luster for years (if maintained properly) and shine with that metal-chrome finish, enough to make your neighbors burn with envy.

A fact worth considering is that used alloy wheels and rims are available in the market at one-third the price of brand new ones. You get the style and features of alloy wheels without spending much.

With all this information at hand, I am sure you are equipped to search for the best alloy wheels for your car and tread the roads in style.

While additive diesel fuel will improve mpg in the engine, a better driving technique brings the advantage of being absolutely free. Adjusting the nut behind the wheel (guess who that is) is possibly the most efficient and cheapest modification a person can ever make to improve fuel economy.

Plus, you can install the method in any car!

Let's save some money and look at what WE can do. But, of course, Safety First - every time (and keep it legal, of course)!

1. Drive less

Move and live closer to work, carpool with friends, use public transportation, do more each time you do go out by combining tasks, work from home if you can.

2. Remove all that junk from your trunk

Unnecessary junk is weight you carry in your trunk and it doesn't ride free. It takes energy to go back and forth, up and down. Removing unnecessary weight from your vehicle saves fuel.

3. Remove the roof rack

How often do you use it? Sure maxisys elite, it looks pretty, but it creates extra drag and drag costs $$. Which flies easier - an arrow or a brick?

4. Check your tire pressures every week

Make sure that your tire pressures are set right. A little higher doesn't hurt, because it reduces rolling resistance - but don't go crazy. Too high and you will ruin the center part of the tread. Too low and you'll ruin the side-wall - and lower your mpg to boot.

5. Leave in good time - no last minute rushing to catch up

Leave a few minutes early so you don't have to drive faster. Driving at a steady speed saves fuel.

6. Turn off when you stop

If you are going to be stopped for more than a minute, then turn off. It won't hurt your car, but it will help your bank account. Play safe here - watch the vehicles around you. Make sure your battery and starter are up to the task.

7. Avoid heavy braking

Brake early, and gently. It not only saves your brake linings, but you automatically tend to avoid accelerating too fast in the first place. Remember, you left early - no hurry here.

8. Avoid rush hour traffic

It's always more of a rush, with more start-stop driving etc. You can't turn off every five seconds. No, drive before or after the rush, if you possibly can.

9. Avoid stopping

If you look well ahead, you can plan better. The light is about to go red on you. Slow down immediately. If you time it right, you might not need to stop - keep rolling and conserve momentum.

10. Cold air costs money

Air conditioning and heating isn't free. It loads the alternator, and that costs gas. Take it easy, especially at lower speeds.

11. Close the windows and the moon roof (sunroof, whatever you call it)

Modern vehicles are designed to slip through the air with maximum efficiency. They are designed with closed windows in mind. If you drive at high speed with open windows and moon roof, etc. all you are doing is increasing turbulence and wind resistance.

12. Start and Go

Modern engines don't need to warm up before moving off. Standing with an engine running means zero mpg!

Lucky 13. Courtesy - even in traffic

Driving with a good gap when following traffic, gives you more time to react and avoid abrupt changes in speed.

14. Look well ahead

The further you look ahead, the more time you have to avoid abrupt changes in speed or direction. Both these changes waste gas, and tires too! If you look at the rear of the car in front of you Autel ml629, it's both rude (just kidding!) but also an invite for squealing tires, when you realize - too late - that the traffic is stopping.

15. Take off smoothly and accelerate smoothly

This is possibly the number one way to save gas. Hitting the gas might sound and feel good, but you're hurting your bank account! Take it easy.

16. Last but never least

Make sure your car is serviced according to the manufacturer's manual.

You're finding this too complicated? Then forget adjusting the nut - you need an additive diesel fuel. If you absolutely cannot do any of the above, take the pill. Try out this product, that is tried and true - you'll save money - but drive safe anyway.

Hey, NEVER drink and drive - it isn't worth it!
